British Art Prize 2025
I was absolutely thrilled to be one of the 50 shortlisted artists for the British Art Prize 2025 (for a second time!) for my painting 'River Walk at Cookham' as shown above.
The paintings were exhibited in the Oxo Tower in London and the preview evening was a delight to attend and, as before, a stunning range of work on display!
Cookham Arts Club People's Choice Award 2025
The Cookham Arts Club hold an annual Summer Exhibition and I was absolutely delighted for this painting to be voted as People's Choice!
I created this painting of a swan and cygnets as part of a Wildlife and Climate Change Exhibition in June 2023 in Cookham. Swans have declined in the past due to lead poisoning from fishing weights. Since this ban in 1987 the numbers are recovering but there are still threats from man‐made items in the river system.
British Art Prize 2023
I was absolutely delighted to be one of the 50 shortlisted artists for the British Art Prize 2023 for my painting 'Reflections at Pin Mill' as shown above.
The paintings were exhibited in the Oxo Tower in London and I spent a wonderful preview evening seeing a beautiful range of paintings and meeting the other artists!
