Early Morning Swim
I chose this subject because during a Wildlife Exhibition I took part in I discovered that Otters are listed as critically endangered in Switzerland. I love the gorgeous scenery of the country so it inspired me to complete this painting. Otters were nearly extinct in 1994 in Switzerland due to habitat loss and pollution but are making a very gradual comeback.
